Summary of Changes
The Framework of Accountability for Security policy has been updated to incorporate the role of the Bureau for Management Services (BMS) Director to:
- Reflect that the BMS Director is responsible for oversight of the Security Office.
- Ensure that the UNDP Framework of Accountability for Security is in line with the UNDP Delegation of Authorities policy which lists the BMS Director as the individual with delegated authority for security matters in UNDP Headquarters New York.
- Outline the role of BMS in providing support to the different units to ensure security is mainstreamed into programmatic matters.
