The policy has been updated to remove references to actual amounts of danger pay, as these are periodically updated by the International Civil Service Commission (ICSC). The updated policy now refers to the ICSC website for current amounts, which were recently revised effective 1 January 2024. In addition, the policy update clarifies the eligibility for danger pay while telecommuting from a location outside the duty station (paragraph 5) and danger pay applicable to local staff on official duty travel outside the country of their duty station (paragraph 11).
