Summary of Changes

The Programme (Cooperation Framework/Country or Regional Programme Document) procedure has been updated to incorporate the revised Programme Quality Assurance (QA) Assessment Template | United Nations Development Programme in Step 2 and the New Country Programme Clearance Form in Step 3. These technical revisions align both documents with the new Strategic Plan 2026-2029 and reflect the updated name of the BPPS/Quality and Impact Hub within the clearance form itself, as well as in the procedure's explanatory notes for Step 3 and in paragraph 14 of the Appraise and Approve policy.

Step 4.0 ALT of the Programme Revision procedure has been updated to incorporate the revised New Country Programme Clearance Form. These technical revisions align the form with the new Strategic Plan 2026-2029 and reflect the updated name of the BPPS/Quality and Impact Hub, which has also been updated within the procedure's Step 3 and Step 4.0 ALT. Step 1 of the Programme Extension procedure has been updated to incorporate the revised Routing and Clearance Form for Extensions of Country Programmes to reflect the updated name of the BPPS/Quality and Impact Hub within the clearance form itself, as well as in paragraph 3 of the Manage Change policy and in the Visual Guide: Provide Oversight for Programmes.

The Bring Your Own Device and Acceptable Usage of ICT Resources policy has been updated to clarify the use of email domains for UNDP and affiliated entities, provide greater flexibility in naming conventions for user accounts (including the use of preferred names, where justified), and mandate the implementation of multi-factor authentication for login procedures to enhance cybersecurity. These changes strengthen the policy’s clarity and reinforce the organization’s commitment to robust cybersecurity practices.
