This policy area includes the policies and procedures which govern UNDP's approach to designing, implementing, closing and transitioning programmes, portfolios and projects it supports. Content is organized in four policy chapters following the hierarchy of UNDP's programme/portfolio/project lifecycle management. Within each policy chapter content is organized hierarchically in policy pages which host the main policies and their procedures, as well as related documents such as regulations and rules, visual guides, guides and templates. For UNDP personnel, practical guidelines on managing for results can be found in the Results-Based Management (RBM) Hub. Guidance resources available in the RBM Hub follow the policies and procedures in this policy area and include practical methodologies and toolkits to effectively design, implement, close and transition a programme, project or portfolio in UNDP. Managing Results for Impact: Definitions and Principles includes the key definitions, principles and roles for results-based management in UNDP.
