Summary of Changes

The Delegation of Authority (DOA) Agreement for GEF projects – GEF TF LDCF SCCF NPIF – master template and the Delegation of Authority (DOA) Agreement for GCF Funding Proposals – master template for full-size projects have been updated in line with the updated GEF project document template and the GCF project document template. The updated Delegation of Authority (DOA) agreement templates are published in the Development Project procedure, Step 2.1. VERT of the Appraise and Approve policy page.

Sick Leave

Summary of Changes

The Sick Leave policy has been revised to incorporate the relevant changes in UN Staff Rules. In particular, the conversion of approved annual leave days to certified sick leave, for illness during leave, no longer requires a minimum duration of five days (see paragraph 31).

The explanatory notes in Step 8 of the Internship procedure have been updated to clarify that the OHR Policy and Compensation Unit will periodically publish a schedule of stipends/remote stipends by duty station. 

UN Travel Documents and National Passport

Summary of Changes

The Travel and Transportation Section, Division of Administration, United Nations Department of Operational Support has updated the UNLP application form as the TTS.2 Supplementary form is no longer required. The updated TTS.2 (12-23) - English (for UNLP) and TTS.2 (12-23) - French (for UNLP) form is published in the Templates and Forms list on page 3 of the policy and in Step 2 of the Application for UN Laissez-Passer (UNLP) and UN Family Certificates (UNFCs) procedure.

Summary of Changes

Further guidance on preparing service bills to projects and recovering service costs (DES/DPC) is now available. The Zero Dollar Invoice (ZDI) shall be used for initial entries and subsequent correcting entries shall be done in the original invoices.
