September 21, 2021 - Danger pay amounts for internationally-recruited and locally-recruited staff members have been updated to align with the danger pay amounts approved by the ICSC as of 1 January 2021. The Danger Pay policy is now available in French. To access the document, click on the French language tab.

April 08, 2020 - The Danger Pay policy is now available in Spanish. To access the document, click on the Spanish language tab.

June 26, 2015 - Clarification to confirm with A/RES/66/235. January 27, 2012, which provides the application of Danger Pay when absent from the duty station, on official travel beyond seven days, annual leave, or any special leave (para. 8). Clarification that both NPOs and GS fall under the locally recruited staff category (paras. 10 and 11).
